Due to the increased power consumption of the electrical consumers in our vehicles, Goldhofer requires the 15-pin socket according to ISO 12089 (cable cross section min. 2.5 mm²) to transmit the signals.
According to the standard, the adapters available on the market from the 15-pin socket ISO 12089 to the two 7-pin sockets ISO 1185 and ISO 3731 are only designed with a maximum cross section of up to 1.5mm² and in reality they are only used by the manufacturers equipped with a cross section of 1mm².
These small cross-sections are not sufficiently safe for operation with our electrical system.
Use of the 7-pin adapter is at your own risk and Goldhofer assumes no liability for any consequential damage
